About the RMT

The Revised Mechanical Translation (RMT) is based on the Mechanical Translation (MT). The MT translates each Hebrew word, prefix, suffix and verb conjugation exactly the same way every time and in the same order as the Hebrew. As an example, the following is the MT of Genesis 1:1.

in~Summit he~did~Fatten “Elohiym [Powers]” At the~Sky~s2 and~At the~Land

The words of the MT are then re-arranged and certain words are added (such as a, an, the, of, etc) in order for the passage to be understood through the English language, such as you see below.

in the summit Elohiym fattened the sky and the land

The RMT also preserves the Hebrew pronunciation of names. Instead of Eve, the pronunciation from the Greek Septuagint, the RMT has Hhawa, the original Ancient Hebrew pronunciation. Attached is a glossary of the Hebrew names with their meaning.
