Genesis Chapter 50

1 and~he~will~FALL(Verb) {וַיִּפֹּל / wai'yi'pol} Yoseph {יוֹסֵף-1 / yo'seyph} UPON {עַל / al} FACE~s {פְּנֵי / pê'ney} FATHER~him {אָבִיו / a'viw} and~he~will~WEEP(Verb) {וַיֵּבְךְּ / wai'yeyv'ke} UPON~him {עָלָיו / a'law} and~he~will~KISS(Verb) {וַיִּשַּׁק / wai'yi'shaq} to~~him {לוֹ / lo}

and Yoseph fell upon the face of his father and he wept upon him and he kissed him,

2 and~he~will~much~DIRECT(Verb) {וַיְצַו / wai'tsaw} Yoseph {יוֹסֵף-1 / yo'seyph} AT {אֶת / et} SERVANT~s~him {עֲבָדָיו / a'va'daw} AT {אֶת / et} the~HEAL(Verb)~ing(mp) {הָרֹפְאִים / ha'roph'im} to~~>>~RIPEN(Verb) {לַחֲנֹט / la'hha'not} AT {אֶת / et} FATHER~him {אָבִיו / a'viw} and~they(m)~will~RIPEN(Verb) {וַיַּחַנְטוּ / wai'ya'hhan'tu} the~HEAL(Verb)~ing(mp) {הָרֹפְאִים / ha'roph'im} AT {אֶת / et} Yisra'eyl {יִשְׂרָאֵל / yis'ra'eyl}

and Yoseph directed his servants, the healers, to ripen his father and the healers ripened Yisra'eyl,

and the forty days were filled for him, for so will the days of the ripening be filled, and Mits'rayim wept for him for seventy days,

and the days of the time of his weeping crossed over and Yoseph spoke to the house of Paroh saying, please, if I found beauty in your eyes, please speak in the ears of Paroh saying,

my father made me swear saying, look, I am dying in my grave which I dug for me in the land of Kena'an, unto there you will bury me, and now, please, I will go up and I will bury my father and I will turn back,

6 and~he~will~SAY(Verb) {וַיֹּאמֶר / wai'yo'mer} Paroh {פַּרְעֹה / par'oh} !(fs)~GO.UP(Verb) {עֲלֵה-1 / a'leyh} and~!(ms)~BURY(Verb) {וּקְבֹר / uq'vor} AT {אֶת / et} FATHER~you(ms) {אָבִיךָ / a'vi'kha} like~WHICH {כַּאֲשֶׁר / ka'a'sheyr} he~did~make~SWEAR(Verb)~you(ms) {הִשְׁבִּיעֶךָ / hish'bi'e'kha}

and Paroh said, go up and bury your father just as he made you swear,

7 and~he~will~make~GO.UP(Verb) {וַיַּעַל / wai'ya'al} Yoseph {יוֹסֵף-1 / yo'seyph} to~~>>~BURY(Verb) {לִקְבֹּר / liq'bor} AT {אֶת / et} FATHER~him {אָבִיו / a'viw} and~they(m)~will~GO.UP(Verb) {וַיַּעֲלוּ / wai'ya'a'lu} AT~him {אִתּוֹ / i'to} ALL {כָּל / kol} SERVANT~s {עַבְדֵי / av'dey} Paroh {פַרְעֹה / phar'oh} BEARD~s {זִקְנֵי / ziq'ney}[257] HOUSE~him {בֵיתוֹ / vey'to} and~ALL {וְכֹל / wê'khol} BEARD~s {זִקְנֵי / ziq'ney} LAND {אֶרֶץ / e'rets} Mits'rayim {מִצְרָיִם / mits'ra'yim}

and Yoseph went up to bury his father and all the servants of Paroh went up with him, the bearded ones of his house and all the bearded ones of the land of Mits'rayim,

8 and~ALL {וְכֹל / wê'khol} HOUSE {בֵּית / beyt} Yoseph {יוֹסֵף-1 / yo'seyph} and~BROTHER~s~him {וְאֶחָיו / wê'e'hhaw} and~HOUSE {וּבֵית / u'veyt} FATHER~him {אָבִיו / a'viw} ONLY {רַק / raq} BABIES~them(m) {טַפָּם / ta'pam} and~FLOCKS~them(m) {וְצֹאנָם / wê'tso'nam} and~CATTLE~them(m) {וּבְקָרָם / uv'qa'ram} they~did~LEAVE(Verb) {עָזְבוּ / az'vu} in~LAND {בְּאֶרֶץ / bê'e'rets} Goshen {גֹּשֶׁן / go'shen}

and all the house of Yoseph and his brothers and the house of his father, only their babies and their flocks and their cattle were left in the land of Goshen,

9 and~he~will~make~GO.UP(Verb) {וַיַּעַל / wai'ya'al} WITH~him {עִמּוֹ / i'mo} ALSO {גַּם / gam} VEHICLE {רֶכֶב / re'khev} ALSO {גַּם / gam} HORSEMAN~s {פָּרָשִׁים / pa'ra'shim} and~he~will~EXIST(Verb) {וַיְהִי / wai'hi} the~CAMP {הַמַּחֲנֶה / ha'ma'hha'neh} HEAVY {כָּבֵד / ka'veyd} MANY {מְאֹד / mê'od}

and the rider also went up with him, also the horsemen, and the camps existed very heavy,

10 and~they(m)~will~COME(Verb) {וַיָּבֹאוּ / wai'ya'vo'u} UNTIL {עַד / ad} Goren-Ha'atad {גֹּרֶן־הָאָטָד / go'ren-ha'a'tad} WHICH {אֲשֶׁר / a'sher} in~OTHER.SIDE {בְּעֵבֶר / bê'ey'ver} the~Yarden {הַיַּרְדֵּן / hai'yar'deyn} and~they(m)~will~LAMENT(Verb) {וַיִּסְפְּדוּ / wai'yis'pe'du} THERE {שָׁם / sham} LAMENTING {מִסְפֵּד / mis'peyd} GREAT {גָּדוֹל / ga'dol} and~HEAVY {וְכָבֵד / wê'kha'veyd} MANY {מְאֹד / mê'od} and~he~will~DO(Verb) {וַיַּעַשׂ / wai'ya'as} to~FATHER~him {לְאָבִיו / lê'a'viw} MOURNING {אֵבֶל / ey'vel} SEVEN {שִׁבְעַת / shiv'at} DAY~s {יָמִים / ya'mim}

and they came unto Goren-Ha'atad which is on the other side of the Yarden, and they lamented there a great and very heavy lamenting and he did a mourning to his father seven days,

11 and~he~will~SEE(Verb) {וַיַּרְא / wai'yar} SETTLE(Verb)~ing(ms) {יוֹשֵׁב / yo'sheyv} the~LAND {הָאָרֶץ / ha'a'rets} the~Kena'an~of {הַכְּנַעֲנִי / ha'ke'na'a'ni} AT {אֶת / et} the~MOURNING {הָאֵבֶל / ha'ey'vel} in~Goren-Ha'atad {בְּגֹרֶן־הָאָטָד / bê'go'ren-ha'a'tad} and~they(m)~will~SAY(Verb) {וַיֹּאמְרוּ / wai'yom'ru} MOURNING {אֵבֶל / ey'vel} HEAVY {כָּבֵד / ka'veyd} THIS {זֶה / zeh} to~Mits'rayim {לְמִצְרָיִם / lê'mits'ra'yim} UPON {עַל / al} SO {כֵּן / keyn}[258] he~did~CALL.OUT(Verb) {קָרָא / qa'ra} TITLE~her {שְׁמָהּ / shê'mah} Aveyl-Mitsrayim {אָבֵל־מִצְרַיִם / a'veyl-mits'ra'yim} WHICH {אֲשֶׁר / a'sher} in~OTHER.SIDE {בְּעֵבֶר / bê'ey'ver} the~Yarden {הַיַּרְדֵּן / hai'yar'deyn}

and the settlers of the land of the one of Kena'an saw the mourning in Goren-Ha'atad and they said, this is a heavy mourning for Mits'rayim, therefore, he called out her title Aveyl-Mitsrayim which is on the other side of the Yarden,

12 and~they(m)~will~DO(Verb) {וַיַּעֲשׂוּ / wai'ya'a'su} SON~s~him {בָנָיו / va'naw} to~~him {לוֹ / lo} SO {כֵּן / keyn} like~WHICH {כַּאֲשֶׁר / ka'a'sheyr} he~did~much~DIRECT(Verb)~them(m) {צִוָּם / tsi'wam}

and his sons did to him so, just as he directed them,

13 and~they(m)~will~LIFT.UP(Verb) {וַיִּשְׂאוּ / wai'yis'u} AT~him {אֹתוֹ / o'to} SON~s~him {בָנָיו / va'naw} LAND~unto {אַרְצָה / ar'tsah} Kena'an {כְּנַעַן / kê'na'an} and~they(m)~will~BURY(Verb) {וַיִּקְבְּרוּ / wai'yiq'be'ru} AT~him {אֹתוֹ / o'to} in~CAVE {בִּמְעָרַת / bim'a'rat} FIELD {שְׂדֵה / sê'deyh} the~Makhpelah {הַמַּכְפֵּלָה / ha'makh'pey'lah} WHICH {אֲשֶׁר / a'sher} he~did~PURCHASE(Verb) {קָנָה / qa'nah} Avraham {אַבְרָהָם / av'ra'ham} AT {אֶת / et} the~FIELD {הַשָּׂדֶה / ha'sa'deh} to~HOLDINGS {לַאֲחֻזַּת / la'a'hhu'zat} GRAVE {קֶבֶר / qe'ver} from~AT {מֵאֵת / mey'eyt} Ephron {עֶפְרֹן / eph'ron} the~Hhet~of {הַחִתִּי / ha'hhi'ti} UPON {עַל / al} FACE~s {פְּנֵי / pê'ney} Mamre {מַמְרֵא / mam'rey}

and his sons lifted him up unto the land of Kena'an and they buried him in the cave of the field of the Makhpelah, the field for holdings of a grave which Avraham purchased, from Ephron, the one of Hhet, upon the face of Mamre,

14 and~he~will~TURN.BACK(Verb) {וַיָּשָׁב / wai'ya'shav} Yoseph {יוֹסֵף-1 / yo'seyph} Mits'rayim~unto {מִצְרַיְמָה / mits'rai'mah} HE {הוּא / hu} and~BROTHER~s~him {וְאֶחָיו / wê'e'hhaw} and~ALL {וְכָל / wê'khol} the~GO.UP(Verb)~ing(mp) {הָעֹלִים / ha'o'lim} AT~him {אִתּוֹ / i'to} to~~>>~BURY(Verb) {לִקְבֹּר / liq'bor} AT {אֶת / et} FATHER~him {אָבִיו / a'viw} AFTER {אַחֲרֵי / a'hha'rey} ~>>~BURY(Verb)~him {קָבְרוֹ / qav'ro} AT {אֶת / et} FATHER~him {אָבִיו / a'viw}

and Yoseph turned back from unto Mits'rayim, he and his brothers and all the ones going up with him to bury his father after he buried his father,

15 and~they(m)~will~SEE(Verb) {וַיִּרְאוּ / wai'yir'u} BROTHER~s {אֲחֵי / a'hhey} Yoseph {יוֹסֵף-1 / yo'seyph} GIVEN.THAT {כִּי / ki} he~did~DIE(Verb) {מֵת-1 / meyt} FATHER~them(m) {אֲבִיהֶם / a'vi'hem} and~they(m)~will~SAY(Verb) {וַיֹּאמְרוּ / wai'yom'ru} WOULD.THAT {לוּ / lu} he~will~HOLD.A.GRUDGE(Verb)~us {יִשְׂטְמֵנוּ / yis'te'mey'nu} Yoseph {יוֹסֵף-1 / yo'seyph} and~~>>~make~TURN.BACK(Verb) {וְהָשֵׁב / wê'ha'sheyv} he~will~make~TURN.BACK(Verb) {יָשִׁיב / ya'shiv} to~~us {לָנוּ / la'nu} AT {אֵת / eyt} ALL {כָּל / kol} the~DYSFUNCTIONAL {הָרָעָה / ha'ra'ah} WHICH {אֲשֶׁר / a'sher} we~did~YIELD(Verb) {גָּמַלְנוּ / ga'mal'nu} AT~him {אֹתוֹ / o'to}

and the brothers of Yoseph saw that their father died and they said, will Yoseph hold a grudge to us and return to us all the dysfunction which we yielded to him,

16 and~they(m)~will~much~DIRECT(Verb) {וַיְצַוּוּ / wa'ye'tsa'u'u} TO {אֶל / el} Yoseph {יוֹסֵף-1 / yo'seyph} to~~>>~SAY(Verb) {לֵאמֹר / ley'mor} FATHER~you(ms) {אָבִיךָ / a'vi'kha} he~did~much~DIRECT(Verb) {צִוָּה / tsi'wah} to~FACE~s {לִפְנֵי / liph'ney} DEATH~him {מוֹתוֹ / mo'to} to~~>>~SAY(Verb) {לֵאמֹר / ley'mor}

and directed Yoseph saying, your father had directed before his death saying,

17 IN.THIS.WAY {כֹּה / koh} you(mp)~will~SAY(Verb) {תֹאמְרוּ / to'me'ru} to~Yoseph {לְיוֹסֵף / lê'yo'seyph} PLEASE {אָנָּא / a'na} !(ms)~LIFT.UP(Verb) {שָׂא / sa} PLEASE {נָא-1 / na} OFFENSE {פֶּשַׁע / pe'sha} BROTHER~s~you(ms) {אַחֶיךָ / a'hhey'kha} and~FAILURE~them(m) {וְחַטָּאתָם / wê'hha'ta'tam} GIVEN.THAT {כִּי / ki} DYSFUNCTIONAL {רָעָה / ra'ah} they~did~YIELD(Verb)~you(ms) {גְמָלוּךָ / gê'ma'lu'kha} and~NOW {וְעַתָּה / wê'a'tah} !(ms)~LIFT.UP(Verb) {שָׂא / sa} PLEASE {נָא-1 / na} to~OFFENSE {לְפֶשַׁע / lê'phe'sha} SERVANT~s {עַבְדֵי / av'dey} Elohiym {אֱלֹהֵי / e'lo'hey} FATHER~you(ms) {אָבִיךָ / a'vi'kha} and~he~will~WEEP(Verb) {וַיֵּבְךְּ / wai'yeyv'ke} Yoseph {יוֹסֵף-1 / yo'seyph} in~~>>~much~SPEAK(Verb)~them(m) {בְּדַבְּרָם / bê'da'be'ram} TO~him {אֵלָיו / ey'law}

in this way you will say to Yoseph, please lift up the offense of your brothers and their failure, given that they yielded you dysfunction, and now please, lift the offense of your servants of the Elohiym of your father, and Yoseph wept in their speaking to him,

18 and~they(m)~will~WALK(Verb) {וַיֵּלְכוּ / wai'yeyl'khu} ALSO {גַּם / gam} BROTHER~s~him {אֶחָיו / e'hhaw} and~they(m)~will~FALL(Verb) {וַיִּפְּלוּ / wai'yip'lu} to~FACE~s~him {לְפָנָיו / lê'pha'naw} and~they(m)~will~SAY(Verb) {וַיֹּאמְרוּ / wai'yom'ru} LOOK~us {הִנֶּנּוּ / hi'ne'nu} to~~you(ms) {לְךָ / lê'kha} to~the~SERVANT~s {לַעֲבָדִים / la'a'va'dim}

and his brothers also walked and they fell to his face and they said, look, we belong to you for servants,

19 and~he~will~SAY(Verb) {וַיֹּאמֶר / wai'yo'mer} TO~them(m) {אֲלֵהֶם / a'ley'hem} Yoseph {יוֹסֵף-1 / yo'seyph} DO.NOT {אַל / al} you(mp)~will~FEAR(Verb) {תִּירָאוּ / ti'ra'u} GIVEN.THAT {כִּי / ki} ?~UNDER {הֲתַחַת / ha'ta'hhat} Elohiym {אֱלֹהִים / e'lo'him} I {אָנִי / a'ni}

and Yoseph said to them, you will not fear given that I am in the place of Elohiym,

20 and~YOU(MP) {וְאַתֶּם / wê'a'tem} you(mp)~did~THINK(Verb) {חֲשַׁבְתֶּם / hha'shav'tem} UPON~me {עָלַי / a'lai} DYSFUNCTIONAL {רָעָה / ra'ah} Elohiym {אֱלֹהִים / e'lo'him} he~did~THINK(Verb)~her {חֲשָׁבָהּ / hha'sha'vah} to~FUNCTIONAL {לְטֹבָה / lê'to'vah} to~THAT {לְמַעַן / lê'ma'an} ~>>~DO(Verb) {עֲשֹׂה / a'soh} like~the~DAY {כַּיּוֹם / ka'yom} the~THIS {הַזֶּה / ha'zeh} to~~>>~make~LIVE(Verb) {לְהַחֲיֹת / lê'ha'hha'yot} PEOPLE {עַם / am} ABUNDANT {רָב / rav}

and you had thought dysfunction upon me, Elohiym had thought her for function, that it be done like this day, to make the people live abundantly,

21 and~NOW {וְעַתָּה / wê'a'tah} DO.NOT {אַל / al} you(mp)~will~FEAR(Verb) {תִּירָאוּ / ti'ra'u} I {אָנֹכִי / a'no'khi} I~will~much~SUSTAIN(Verb) {אֲכַלְכֵּל / a'khal'keyl} AT~you(mp) {אֶתְכֶם / et'khem} and~AT {וְאֶת / wê'et} BABIES~you(mp) {טַפְּכֶם / tap'khem} and~he~will~COMFORT(Verb) {וַיְנַחֵם / wa'ye'na'hheym} AT~them(m) {אוֹתָם / o'tam} and~he~will~much~SPEAK(Verb) {וַיְדַבֵּר / wai'da'beyr} UPON {עַל / al} HEART~them(m) {לִבָּם / li'bam}

and now, you will not fear, I will sustain you and your babies, and he comforted them and he spoke upon their heart,

22 and~he~will~SETTLE(Verb) {וַיֵּשֶׁב / wai'yey'shev} Yoseph {יוֹסֵף-1 / yo'seyph} in~Mits'rayim {בְּמִצְרַיִם / bê'mits'ra'yim} HE {הוּא / hu} and~HOUSE {וּבֵית / u'veyt} FATHER~him {אָבִיו / a'viw} and~he~will~LIVE(Verb) {וַיְחִי / wa'ye'hhi} Yoseph {יוֹסֵף-1 / yo'seyph} HUNDRED {מֵאָה / mey'ah} and~TEN {וָעֶשֶׂר / wa'e'ser} YEAR~s {שָׁנִים / sha'nim}

and Yoseph settled in Mits'rayim, he and the house of his father and Yoseph lived a hundred and ten years,

23 and~he~will~SEE(Verb) {וַיַּרְא / wai'yar} Yoseph {יוֹסֵף-1 / yo'seyph} to~Ephrayim {לְאֶפְרַיִם / lê'eph'ra'yim} SON~s {בְּנֵי / bê'ney} THIRD.GENERATION~s {שִׁלֵּשִׁים / shi'ley'shim} ALSO {גַּם / gam} SON~s {בְּנֵי / bê'ney} Makhir {מָכִיר / ma'khir} SON {בֶּן / ben} Menasheh {מְנַשֶּׁה / mê'na'sheh} BRING.FORTH(Verb)~ed(mp) {יֻלְּדוּ / yul'du} UPON {עַל / al} KNEE~s {בִּרְכֵּי / bir'key} Yoseph {יוֹסֵף-1 / yo'seyph}

and Yoseph saw the sons of the third generation belonging to Ephrayim, also the sons of Makhir, the son of Menasheh, they were brought forth upon the knees of Yoseph,

24 and~he~will~SAY(Verb) {וַיֹּאמֶר / wai'yo'mer} Yoseph {יוֹסֵף-1 / yo'seyph} TO {אֶל / el} BROTHER~s~him {אֶחָיו / e'hhaw} I {אָנֹכִי / a'no'khi} DIE(Verb)~ing(ms) {מֵת-2 / meyt} and~Elohiym {וֵאלֹהִים / wey'lo'him} ~>>~REGISTER(Verb) {פָּקֹד / pa'qod} he~will~REGISTER(Verb) {יִפְקֹד / yiph'qod} AT~you(mp) {אֶתְכֶם / et'khem} and~he~did~make~GO.UP(Verb) {וְהֶעֱלָה / wê'he'e'lah} AT~you(mp) {אֶתְכֶם / et'khem} FROM {מִן / min} the~LAND {הָאָרֶץ / ha'a'rets} the~THIS {הַזֹּאת / ha'zot} TO {אֶל / el} the~LAND {הָאָרֶץ / ha'a'rets} WHICH {אֲשֶׁר / a'sher} he~did~be~SWEAR(Verb) {נִשְׁבַּע / nish'ba} to~Avraham {לְאַבְרָהָם / lê'av'ra'ham} to~Yits'hhaq {לְיִצְחָק / lê'yits'hhaq} and~to~Ya'aqov {וּלְיַעֲקֹב / ul'ya'a'qov}

and Yoseph said to his brothers, I am dying and Elohiym will surely visit you, and he will bring you up from this land to the land which he was sworn to Avraham, to Yits'hhaq and to Ya'aqov,

25 and~he~will~make~SWEAR(Verb) {וַיַּשְׁבַּע / wai'yash'ba} Yoseph {יוֹסֵף-1 / yo'seyph} AT {אֶת / et} SON~s {בְּנֵי / bê'ney} Yisra'eyl {יִשְׂרָאֵל / yis'ra'eyl} to~~>>~SAY(Verb) {לֵאמֹר / ley'mor} ~>>~REGISTER(Verb) {פָּקֹד / pa'qod} he~will~REGISTER(Verb) {יִפְקֹד / yiph'qod} Elohiym {אֱלֹהִים / e'lo'him} AT~you(mp) {אֶתְכֶם / et'khem} and~you(mp)~did~make~GO.UP(Verb) {וְהַעֲלִתֶם / wê'ha'a'li'tem} AT {אֶת / et} BONE~s~me {עַצְמֹתַי / ats'mo'tai} from~THIS {מִזֶּה / mi'zeh}

and Yoseph caused the sons of Yisra'eyl to swear saying, Elohiym will surely visit you and you will bring up my bones from this,

26 and~he~will~DIE(Verb) {וַיָּמָת / wai'ya'mat} Yoseph {יוֹסֵף-1 / yo'seyph} SON {בֶּן / ben} HUNDRED {מֵאָה / mey'ah} and~TEN {וָעֶשֶׂר / wa'e'ser} YEAR~s {שָׁנִים / sha'nim} and~they(m)~will~RIPEN(Verb) {וַיַּחַנְטוּ / wai'ya'hhan'tu} AT~him {אֹתוֹ / o'to} and~he~will~PLACE(Verb) {וַיִּישֶׂם / wai'yi'sem} in~the~BOX {בָּאָרוֹן / ba'a'ron} in~Mits'rayim {בְּמִצְרָיִם / bê'mits'ra'yim}

and Yoseph died, a son of a hundred and ten years, and they ripened him and he was set in place in the box in Mits'rayim,
